Tämä toteutus on englanniksi. Suomenkielinen päiväopiskelijoille suunnattu toteutus järjestetään syksyllä 2025. Myös monimuoto-opiskelijat voivat ilmoittautua syksyn toteutukselle, mutta opetusta järjestetään myös monimuoto-opiskelijoiden opetuspäivien ulkopuolella.
Event Safety and Security -study unit is planned for Safety, Security and Risk Management and Hospitality Management students. The aim of the course is to combine expertise from both fields and to strengthen students’ understanding of the interdependence between the event organiser and those responsible for security. This is a blended learning implementation.
Study unit consists of contact lessons, on-line sessions and online exam, as well as working independently and as a group between and after the contact lessons.
A Canvas learning environment is used to support the implementation. The study unit includes scheduled teaching and guidance both on campus and online. Online teaching is recorded. Contact lessons are not recorded or streamed.
The study unit includes working in pairs or groups. You will receive individual feedback for assignments from the teacher. Working life or peer feedback may also be utilized. Course also includes self-study material and pre-recorded lectures.
The study unit consists of learning assignments and evaluated assignments. Assignments are done in the groups.

Opiskelija osaa – kuvailla tapahtumaturvallisuuteen liittyvän lainsäädännön – tunnistaa tapahtumaturvallisuuteen liittyviä tyypillisiä riskejä – suunnitella tapahtuman turvallisuusjärjestelyt tunnistettuihin riskeihin perustuen laatia tapahtuman tilasuunnitelman huomioiden tapahtuman luonne
