The studies at the open university of applied sciences are generally fee-based, with a few exceptions. This page contains the tuition fees valid at the open university of applied sciences.
Individual studies
You can pay for the individual courses of the open AMK either by credits or with an annual fee. The study fee can be paid in full upon registration or by invoicing.
According to the credits, the tuition fee is 15 euros/credit and the total price is updated based on the studies you choose.
The annual fee for the open AMK is 400 euros. With the annual fee, you can complete an unlimited number of credits in one year. The annual fee does not include participation in specialist trainings or cooperation courses.
Only temporary right of study is always granted for studies at an open university of applied sciences. If your studies take longer, you can get additional time by paying for a new study period.
Please note that some courses may incur additional costs, for example for protective clothing. These costs are charged to the student in addition to other fees.
Mooc-studies
Mooc studies are free for everyone and no fees are charged. You get the right to study for a mooc study for a limited period of time.
Expert trainings
The price of expert training is 12 euros/credit and the total price is based on the scope of the expert training.
It is possible to pay the tuition fee for specialist training in full upon registration or by invoicing. You cannot pay for other fee-based studies at the open university of applied sciences with the study fee for the specialist training. With the annual fee of the open university of applied sciences, you cannot participate in expert training.
